The module is used for digital gyroscopes and accelerometer modules that measure angular velocity, heading angle (also known as directional or yaw) and acceleration under dynamic conditions. It is a highly compact, lightweight and fully self-contained device. The interior contains MEMS gyroscopes, 3-axis accelerometers, internal voltage regulators, signal processing circuits, AD converters and RISC microprocessors running our patented error correction algorithms. It uses an adaptive reduced-order Kalman filter to reduce the errors affecting this sensor (ie offset drift, scale factor, asymmetry), so it can output very accurate and stable angular velocities and heading angles. The start-up time is less than 1 second and is used to calculate the offset parameters, after which no further calibration is required. It is the best applied single axis navigation rate measurement solution.
